Alice Popovici fell in love with journalism while working for a community newspaper in rural Arizona, and has since written for Reuters, NPR, CBS, History.com, City & State and Architectural Digest PRO, among other publications. Several years ago, she was a Fulbright fellow in the Republic of Moldova, where she worked on an oral history project about the Soviet era. Alice has a bachelor’s degree from the Rhode Island School of Design and a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
